Since we now know what we are bidding on, it seems 'The Debate' , which was about what to save, is now pretty much done with. Unless of course there are further unexpected developments or we fail to secure anything. So I've locked the threads that were connected with the debate and moved the other topics to more appropriate sections. I've also done it because in the future it might be interesting to come back here and see how it all panned out compared to what we thought...

I've added a somewhat tautological General Discussion area for any more general topic that doesn't fit anywhere else.
