I have been reading the NRM has washed its hands of 50033 Glorious. Its in a forlorn state and in need of help. As a group here who would wish to get their hands on a deltic It seems another stalwart is available. It may be to our advantage to work with the NRM to get 50033 upto scratch and use it in anger. Giving us valuable experiance in the restoration and maintainance of locomotives. Which in the future could bode well for the purchase and running of a deltic.

Its just an idea but we do not need to forget their were other EE locos of great stature.
